Come gather round first homebuyers and place your starting bids
It's here 'The Land' was taught to some elitist little kids
But lucky you, the government has really hit the skids
And needs to auction off our dear old Hurlstone!
Hurrah! Hurrah! For the plough and the harrow and the hoe!
Hurrah! Hurrah! All of this has got to go!
And when they're out upon their ear
The bottom line will show
What little good we did for Hurlstone
Now you should see their sporting teams, cos sport is all they've got
distinguishing their programme now, 'cause 'agriculture's' not.
Now the farmyard management has really lost the plot
Can't have not-for-profit farms at Hurlstone
And here's to those who've gone before - lest all of us forget
The sacrifices of the souls commemorated yet
in living, breathing monuments - remembering the debt
