Plans for the Thanksgiving Service and Walkway Dedication on April 1st are well underway.
It is now confirmed that guest of honour for this day will be
Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir, Governor of New South Wales.
Thank you to all those who have sent an RSVP. We currently have over 1200 acceptances!!
However, to ensure that no-one misses out, replies are still being accepted.
So if you know of anyone else who might like to come, please contact them urgently
and ask them to contact Anne McLeod in the school office as follows:
Phone: (02) 9829 9246
Fax: (02) 9829 2026
Getting to the School on the day:
By train: Walk from Glenfield Station
By Car: Free on-site parking is available (ushers will direct you)
Disability Access: Separate car parking will be available for those
requiring Wheel Chair access. (Ushers will direct you)
Location Map: A location map is available on the school website www.hurlstone.com.au
(select: General Information / Contact Information / Location Map)
(Please Note: access to Roy Watts Road is now via Glenfield Rd ONLY)
(there is no longer any access from Campbelltown Road)
Because of the large numbers expected, it is recommended that you arrive by 12:30pm.
Gates will open at 10:30am and various food and display stalls will be available.
If you arrive early enough, you might like to have a wander around the school.
(Maps will be provided at the gates as you enter, and students will be available to assist)
Finally, let me stress again that everyone is welcome.
You do not need to have purchased a paver to attend.
Enjoy the day!
