After waiting and waiting for someone to organise our 20 year reuion (for which no one bothered to!) After numerous discussions with fellow year of 87 students we are doing it our selves. We are looking at November 1, 2008 at Mortons Pub in Sussex St Sydney (as this is where the class of 86 had theirs and it was good) So thats what we are looking to do so if you would like to assist out in any way all help would be gratley appreciated. you can e-mail me at rosspitman@live.com.au or await heae for further updates. Mate great to hear from you, and congrats you are the first to post a comment!! I have set up a Facebook class of 87 site as well to get photo's etc and to link peoaple up from back then. The word is on the street as I have had a few e-mails etc and have heard stories from someone who heard that someone else knows that something is happening , so Lets see what happens.

G’Day and thanks for your reply, it was great to receive your e-mail. Well the wheels are definitely in motion as I have received a few e-mails from all over the place. However if you know of someone’s where abouts could you please e-mail them to inform them of our reunion on November 1, 2008 and get them to reply to me at my e-mail address

I have also set up a facebook site Hurlstone Agricultural High School Class of 1987 for the purpose of communicating etc and loading any photographs anyone may have to play on the night as a huge PowerPoint display etc. Once we get the numbers closer to the mark we will have to charge a fee as the place I’ve booked Mortons Hotel ( RE web site http://www.moretonshotel.com.au/ ) needed a deposit and a cost to book the space and to hire a security guard for the night. I went to the Class of 86’s reunion there and it was excellent so we have been able to use their good name in getting this organised. Anyway again thanks for your reply and please forward this to any other Hurlstonians for me.

Just a quick note for those interested, There will be a social get together at Mortons Hotel (the place of the reunion...20 Sussex st Sydney) On Friday June 13, 2008. This is not an official function just a social gathering for those interested. People will lob n leave when they feel free and lobb when ever you want. Some will be there from late afternoon. See you there if you want. But be there on November 1 OK. Cheers

AUG 29 , 2008 SOCIAL GET-TOGETHER

Well G'day All
The time has arrived to send out the RSVP's for the November Shin-Dig Our better late than never 20 (21) year School Reunion. I have sent this RSVP out via Facebook you will also receive an e-mail with a RSVP flyer attached, or Via Phone calls, and maybe by just general harrassment (not really) I would be very much appreciated if you are are attending
(A) to let me know. ASAP
(B) to make a deposit into the nominated bank account as per details below. And send a confirming e-mail that you have done this. Payment is needed as we need to pay in advance and its an upfront cost of $1200.00 before we start a thing. Kylie Gorst is in charge of the Finances and has the Cheque book and purse string etc! So there will not be a mystery holiday taken by myself (but its not a bad idea!!) Anyway.
There has been a great deal of work done recently by Carol Ward, Louise Gross and Kylie Gorst including e-mails, phone calls and general research in locating people. We will have a visable spreadsheet online once the numbers are confirmed, so again please let me know if you are coming or not and please make the deposit into the account. SEE BELOW!!!!!
