Email received from Andrew Stoner ...
----------------------------------------------
Hurlstonians
Just an update on our progress in Parliament. Today I moved a straight forward motion - That this House supports the retention of the existing 160 hectare Hurlstone Agricultural High School in public hands.
All the Labor Members including Barry Collier, Alison Megarrity, Phillip Costa, Geoff Corrigan, Steve Whan and Karen Paluzano voted against it!!
Their argument was that James Ruse does not need so much land, and that country people support the sale (does anyone understand that logic?).
How can we stop Nathan Rees making this stupid decision when Western Sydney Labor Members refuse to stand up for their communities.
I will post the video footage of Parliament on you tube shortly so you can watch it for yourself.
Kind Regards
Andrew Stoner

"Save Hurlstone" Newsletter
A newsletter has been produced which outlines most of the major issues regarding the sale, and explains why the sale should not go ahead.
We need to get the word out!
Why not email the newsletter to 10 (or more) of your friends and ask them if they will add their support by also contacting their local member?
(You can find the newsletter on the "Farm Sale" page on the menu on the left)
