Please put 5 July 2009 in your diary for an Open Day at Hurlstone Agricultural High School.
The Open Day is an opportunity - perhaps one of the last opportunities - for the community to see this historic working school farm before the NSW Government buries it under asphalt and concrete block boxes.
Bring family and friends, have a picnic, tour the school working farm - let your children and grandchildren see the farm animals. Tours from 11am to 2pm, gates open from 10.30 am. Trains run every 30 minutes to and from Glenfield Station. Map below for road directions.
This is an opportunity to show community support for this increasingly scarce green space and for Australia's first secondary agricultural school.
Help make a statement without the chanting, without the marches, and while enjoying a friendly family and community day out.
Join our peaceful protest in rural tranquillity. All you have to do is come, see it for yourself and enjoy a farm day out.
